I Thought It Was Spring?

It’s snowing again
I thought it was spring?

The birds are confused
Although they do sing

36 degrees
Not warm enough

We should just head south
Till spring decides to get rid of this “stuff”

Blowing, swirling and twirling around
Can’t see through it
Homebound

Bright and quiet
The muffled sound
Of winter comes down

Gloves, hats, scarves, boots
Might keep you warm
On this cold winter Day

Push it back
Salt thrown around
Clearing the way
For children and parents to play
